Bonus Tutorial
Painted Acetate
For this technique, you need acetate, permanent Ink - like StazOn, and permanent markers like Spectrum Noir, Copic, Bic or Sharpies. You will also need some white acrylic paint. Of course, you could choose different colors!
For the background piece, you'll need watercolor paper and some watercolor markers. If you haven't any of those, you could always apply watercolor paint directly to your craft sheet or non stick surface.
Let's get started!

Stamp on Acetate using permanent ink. You'll stamp on the top, but all other steps will take place on the BACK of the Acetate. |
Layer on Darkest Color |
Layer on Lighter Color and Blend |
Color Leaves |
Color Centers and Stems |
Begin painting on separate sections, one at a time. |
Go with the direction of each piece for best results. |
I used two layers of paint. |
Creating the Background
Scribble on a craft sheet or some aluminum foil using a watercolor marker. If you don't have a watercolor marker, you can use a paint brush with extra water and paint. |
Press watercolor cardstock onto your scribbled watercolor, picking up all the paint. |
