The Cast and Crew for Gina K Designs welcomes you to another fabulous blog hop celebrating the new stamp sets from the May StampTV Release Party! We hope to inspire you with some beautiful card projects as you hop along to each of the designer’s blogs! Today, we are featuring three stamp sets by Beth Silaika and Claire Brennan.
The first set we are featuring is Sophie Pig by Beth Silaika. Beth has created a super cute set second set with the sweetest images and matching sentiments to make the perfect card project to make the card recipient smile or feel better right away!
The second and third sets we are featuring are by our new Illustrator Claire Brennan. The sets are Old Country Roses and Fine Feathers. With Claire’s Old Country Roses set, you can create beautiful layered stamped images that make the most beautiful and soft roses that look like you have picked them right out of your own rose garden. Claire’s Fine Feathers set is a collection of fun feathers that are a perfect focal image to create a message of inspiration, hope, thanks and more! ReplyDeleteWhat awesome creations you have made. I love all the cards you made with these new sets.
ReplyDeleteAllie, although my favorite stamp this release is the feathers, your piggy bank has made the piggy a number two...had to buy that cricut cut, it was too stinking cute, and I know my Granddaughters will love putting it all together to make for their friends...was there instructions for that anywhere that I could print for them so they don't drive me crazy while they are crafting? Thanks for sharing such beautiful creations!
ReplyDeleteThere's a link to the file at Cricut Design Space. I cut two of the back pieces in Dusty Rose and made a fold line near the top and placed my glue above that line to create the card base, then added the top layer of Peach Bellini. I scored the pigs feet as well, from the back so it would stand out. I also inked the edges and used a flourish from the Sending Love set for eyelashes. Hope that helps!
DeleteGenius! LOVE the wee piggy bank! Cracking cards all, Allie! hugs!
ReplyDeleteLove your creativity. Your cards are beautiful.
ReplyDeleteVery creative cards! Thanks!
ReplyDeleteLove all your cards. They are beautiful. TFS
ReplyDeleteBeautiful cards and adorable "piggy" bank, too.
ReplyDeleteI thought I had my favorite picked out and then I scrolled to the bottom and the multi-colored feather card just wowed me. Love it. TFS
ReplyDeleteYour multi color feather design is very pretty and I love the sentiment too. The pink accented sophie pig card is so cute. I especially liked the honeycomb like background piece.

ReplyDeleteSo creative!
ReplyDeleteFantastic cards and projects.
ReplyDeleteLove the little piggy - he can be kept out on
display after the event is over - a reminder
of someone thinking enough of them to make a
darling gift.
The multi-colored feathers are beautiful.
thanks for sharing some wonderful things.
Awesome cards. Couldn't pick a favorite if I had to.
ReplyDeleteThese are all so cool.
ReplyDeleteThe feathers and roses make such lovely cards (and so do you of course).
ReplyDeleteGreat projects.
ReplyDeleteLove the cards, I am definitely going to have to get that little pig!!
ReplyDeleteLove feathers. Angels wings fallen to earth. Thanks for the inspiration.
ReplyDeleteYour cards are all so beautiful! I love the pig stamps :)
ReplyDeleteSuch a creative range of cards! Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteAllie: So many new pretties!!! Although I am “color challenged,” I do enjoy looking at what others have created. Your last card is my favorite. I almost always want one of every color, because it is so hard to choose “just one” of something that comes in several colors.
ReplyDeleteLove the feathers. You know that when I do the hops I look to see how many different ways to use the sets that I get and I love them all but the colors of the feathers are striking.
ReplyDeleteYour work is sooooooo creative. Thanks for such great showcases for the Fine Feathers and for the adorable piggy bank. what a talent you have!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful cards! The roses look like they were cut from a piece of fabric. Perfect!
ReplyDeleteThe little piggy bank card is too cute. A sweet way to give a money gift.
Thanks for sharing your lovely work! :)
These are all so pretty. The piggy bank is adorable and I love the colorful feathers.
ReplyDeleteLots of wonderful creations and the piggy bank is so cute.
